Lucy Abir is a native Angeleno, seasoned communications strategist, mother of three, and former entertainment journalist with over 15 years of experience in Hollywood, where she built a distinguished career at the intersection of media, storytelling, and influential industry relationships. She played a key role in producing “Luis Mi Rey,” the official biography of international music icon Luis Miguel, demonstrating her expertise in shaping high-impact narratives and managing culturally significant projects.
Today, Lucy brings that strategic communications expertise into the legal arena, leading business communications, public relations, and high-level networking at ACTS LAW one of California’s largest and most recognized plaintiff law firms. She plays an integral role in supporting individuals and families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. By strengthening community partnerships and advancing the firm’s mission, Lucy helps ensure clients feel heard, empowered, and positioned for the strongest possible outcomes in their cases.
Deeply rooted in the Los Angeles community, her work is driven by advocacy and service, with a strong focus on uplifting diverse Latino, Black, and Iranian communities. She serves as an Honorary Advisory Board Member of the Dolores Huerta Foundation, founded by civil rights icon Dolores Huerta, and is actively involved with Latino Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles, EXPOSE, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Iranian American Lawyers Association (IALA), and Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities.
